All European countries are confronted with ever increasing demand for nursing services these days. It is said that some healthcare organizations are faced with staffing dilemmas that are reaching crisis levels in certain places.
For the Nurses in Europe, In theory, there is freedom to travel and seek work between all EU countries, say, UK , Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.
Also a number of European directives mean your nursing qualification can be recognized in other European countries enabling you to practise there. The main obstacle to employment as a qualified nurse or midwife in another European country is the language. Prospects of employment are generally poor if you do not have a good knowledge or qualification (around ‘A’ level standard) of the language of the country. But some ‘British’ and ‘American’ hospitals in Europe will welcome applications for employment from English speaking nurses and midwives.

Nurses Adaptation Program with PGDHCM
This program is primarily designed to adapt a foreign educated nurse to practice in Czech nursing system. With the integration of Post Graduate Diploma in Health Care Management (PGDHCM) allows them to get thorough knowledge in managing Health Care Organizations like Hospitals, Care Centers, Clinics etc.
The programme is suitable for students who are interested in studying in a multicultural group. Language and communication skills are highlighted during throughout the whole programme.
Since this is a practical oriented course, Czech College would help students in Nostrification (equivalency to Czech qualification) of their existing foreign nursing qualification and prepare them for Approbation test also known as licensure exam. Approbation test consists of four stages in which the first two stages can be done in English or Czech language. Third stage is a 40 days Practical Nursing test conducted in supervision of a Partner Hospital, which would analyze the efficiency of the Nurse to deal with a real Czech speaking patient. After clearing fourth stage of the test the candidate becomes licensed and capable of practicing in Czech Health Care system.
