The local Czech cuisine is also really amazing. The food, beer and winery options are important things any international student should look forward to trying. Prague boasts of several exquisite restaurants and much homely setups as well. This means there is an assorted line-up of options for the international student looking to wet his appetite. For your stay in Prague make sure to check out the beef steak tartare, the Wiener sausage, the schnitzel with potato salad is an absolute must as well and finally you should also try the Goulash; a thick beef stew served with dumplings.

It is also extremely easy to pick up bits of the language as one spends more time in the city. You will soon find yourself dishing out phrases and slangs in the Czech language that will sure put a smile on the faces of the locals.

Prague the 14th largest city in the European Union (EU) and is very centrally located in Europe. Prague is only 5 hours away by train from Berlin, 1 hour away from Brussels by plane; Prague is literally touching distance away from other amazing cities in Europe. International students can take advantage of this proximity and visit these other cities to ensure the study experience is one to remember.
