Czech College Signs MOU with Government of Fujairah

Czech College has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Government of Fujairah to promote research, training and the dissemination of knowledge and to facilitate easier student mobility between Czech College and universities under the Fujairah Government.

Fujairah holds a unique position in the UAE because it is the only emirate that lies on the eastern side of the UAE, along the Gulf of Oman. Known as the jewel of the Middle East, Fujairah’s unique location offers free access to all the major shipping routes of the world.

Head of Admissions, Filip Jankovsky signing the MoU with the His Excellency Mohammed Khalifa Al Zayoodi, Director of the Human Resources Department in Fujairah.

Fujairah’s port sees over 40 giant tanker passings every day. It is a noted point of contact for container liners and livestock shipping companies. The Government is famous for its pro-business, liberal policies and thanks to well-structured infrastructure, it has become a destination for businesses and enterprises to grow and diversify.

This partnership is highly beneficial for the students at Czech College because it allows seamless movement of students, educators and pedagogical materials between the institution and universities under the Fujairah Government. The main aim of the MOU is to facilitate academic and research co-operation. Both the Government of Fujairah and Czech College are exploring ways to initiate more joint educational and research activities and exchange programmes for students and scholars.
