Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic
Established in 1348, Charles University is the oldest university in Central Europe and one of the oldest institutes of higher education in the world. The university, which has been consistently ranked the best Czech university in international polls, currently houses 17 faculties in the Czech Republic, three institutes and six centres of research, development and reaching.
With over 53,000 students--which is roughly 60% of all students studying in the Czech Republic--enrolled in more than 300 different courses, the university sees at least 10,000 graduates passing out of its portals every year. Charles University is also a pioneer in collaborative academic programmes, with reputed exchange programmes and joint research projects.
Czech College has partnered with Charles University for student housing facilities. Also, Czech College students get special access to the prestigious libraries run by the University’s faculties around the city. We have also partnered with them to use some of their lecture halls and classrooms.
